Underwriting norms
- New in business accepted, with 3 years in business or related experience
- General Liability up to $5,000,000
- Deductible starting at $1,000
- The insured has no open claims
- The insured has not had more than one claim in the past 5 years
- The insured holds an RBQ licence before policy issuance, when required by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec
- The insured does not generate more than 10% of revenue from consulting or expert services
- No operations in ports, airports, mines, overpasses, railways, sawmills or paper mills
- No underpinning, building elevation or relocation, or snow removal work
