This month, I wanted to share some news about how we have developed a loyalty scheme specifically for you, our broker partners, to build relationships and make us truly more broker centered.
As I’ve mentioned before, we are an independent MGA – which means that the trusted relationships we have with our many broker partners are absolutely vital to the success of our business. Our goal is to become the preferred destination for our broker partners across Canada, and we are working hard every day in an effort to earn your preference. New products, improved processes and systems, and new ideas are continually evolving in our business as a part of this journey.
We recognize that varying levels of relationships with our broker partners could lead to different opportunities with mutual benefits for our businesses, and your clients. In this regard, what we strive for is partnership.
We are very happy receiving thousands of submissions every month and we’re extremely grateful for that. Every submission to APRIL is a gift, in my opinion and our team do their best to respond in a quick and transparent manner. Over time, however, we want to go a step beyond that, and not just be a transactional market for our brokers. We want to add increasing value back to you, to help you grow your business by developing programs and offering solutions to help you win new clients or retain existing ones.
Our broker loyalty program is therefore our way of identifying these shared objectives between our businesses, and supporting this through prioritized service, offering preferred underwriters and executive sponsorship for our broker partners. We are continuing to develop these services to find new ways to add-value… for example, one of our brokers recently gave us an idea about creating an “ask APRIL” inbox for general risk enquiries, and this is something we will be implementing soon!
In 2016 we hope to continue developing partnerships with more and more of our brokers. There’s no upper limit here – it’s just a matter of where we can find opportunities that mutually benefit both parties.
